  • Scoping the future workforce needs that will support the principles of Enhanced Recovery and redesign of Out Patient services.

  • Review and report on  the regional  Radiotherapy workforce, with particular regard for the 4 tier AHP structure, Modernising Scientific Careers and new national treatment targets from the National Radiotherapy Implementation Group (NRIG).

  • Supporting the implementation of the Modernising Scientific Careers programme of education and training redesign for all healthcare scientists in the region.

  • Working with regional education providers to scope the skills requirements of different specimen pathways to support modernisation of patient care, within the Planned Care Clinical Pathway team.

  • Cross-group working to support West Midlands Quality Review Service for Stroke, Cardiac and Vascular Services.
