We have developed a care pathway for people with Dementia. This spans from pre diagnosis to end of life. As such there are considerable workforce implications which need to be addressed across the pathway encompassing health and social care and staff form the independent and voluntary sector.

Current areas of work include:

• Training for  a range of staff

• Workforce issues in the acute sector

• Workforce issues in Primary Care

• Getting current research into practice

• The Carers agenda
