Healthcare scientists are a wide ranging group of healthcare professionals committed to providing diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions.  Healthcare scientists work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals as part of the whole team to provide best care for patients.

The work of the healthcare scientists can be divided into one of three main themes; Life Sciences, Physiological Sciences and Clinical Engineering and Physical Sciences.
