> What People are Saying
The current programme commenced in February 2012 and completes in November. There are 52 participants from a wide range of organisations. Current participants have commented:
- “I have found the Provider Excellence Programme to be one of the most relevant, practically useful and stimulating development opportunities in my NHS career to date. The content has been topical and insightful, particularly on health marketisation and corporate governance, with an excellent standard of facilitation and speakers. The networking opportunities with a diverse range of senior participants have also been valuable”.
Mark Jarman-Howe, Associate Director Clinical Support Services and Cancer, Colchester Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust
- “As a GP I have found the programme very useful, as it has exposed me to an alternative viewpoint in relation to provision of healthcare services. The primary care model of service provision needs to adapt if we are to benefit from the opportunities that lie ahead. I have been able to benchmark my leadership knowledge and skills in comparison to other clinical and managerial staff. Already, I am putting some of the theory into practice by forming a collaborative/partnership approach in redesign of a new service.”
