Talent and Leadership

NHS Midlands and East recognises that developing effective leaders and managing our talent throughout the healthcare community is crucial if we are to meet the challenges ahead of us; changing NHS organisational architecture whilst also maintaining high quality services that meet the needs of the communities we serve.

As part of the clustering of SHAs, the West Midlands Leadership Team has joined forces with East of England and East Midlands Leadership Academy to jointly support all of our healthcare stakeholders with our highly challenging leadership agenda.

Through ongoing consultation and engagement, we have developed an approach for 2012 - 2013 that is forward looking, led by evolving national and local agendas, retaining the NHS Leadership Framework at its heart, with a vision of moving the leadership agenda through transition and into the new healthcare architecture.
