The deadlines apply to previously un-assessed periods of care from 1 April 2004 to 31 March 2012.

West Midlands NHS allocated £21m to help patients get access to cancer drugs

It was announced on 1 April 2011 that the Cancer Drugs Fund will see £600 million invested over three years. Of the £200 million available for 2012/13, the West Midlands’ share is £21m.
